Some Comments from the Students   My experience with this course has been fantastic…I wanted to participate and read everything as I found it so fascinating… I do not usually speak up in class. I have found myself interacting more in this class. I learned a lot in this class, I had to challenge myself… It was pretty interesting the way they decided to present the course (the whole investigative thing)… It was a very informative course and I am now interested in going into the FBI as a special agent and work[ing] my way into psychological profiling. I think it was fun and interesting, definitely different than any other course I have ever taken. This course was very well organized and the format encouraged interaction with classmates. Good experience…very conducive to focusing on material and content. This was without a doubt the best course I have ever taken…It covered a great deal of information, we were challenged to learn all of it and to excel…The discussion board homicide investigation was a GREAT idea, it has really given me a better idea of how to apply the information… I really like this course. I like that many of our lessons were linked to current events and news stories. I would definitely recommend this course because it lived up to being as morbid as I hoped, plus I learned a lot and had a great time. It’s by far one of the best classes I’ve ever taken over the course of 10 years and three different schools. This course had the most intriguing content of any course I’ve taken… We, the students, were also challenged to put to use this knowledge to try to work through our own case via the scenario, which definitely helped in the manner in which we used our critical thinking. …especially for fellow law enforcement…it is a great tool for us I would recommend this course to a friend because even though it was an online course, the level of interaction made me feel very connected to other students and the instructor. This class does teach individuals a lot about various areas of death investigations such as terminology individual processes….and the resources available and how to use them effectively. …not recommended if you have a weak stomach! J
