Distance Education Systems explored the basics of the structure of systems found in business, organizations and education. This course gave me a very grounded knowledge that later came into play in my working life. As a coordinator for a new online degree program, it became evident that understanding how systems were constructured properly and how each element worked in conjunction with each other gave me a foundation on which to build a program matrix and a formal program plan - which, despite implementing and marketing the program - had not been considered!
