Dear Friends,
Too few times over the course of our lives do we encounter another who can so completely participate with us that our needs are not only met; they cease to exist. Initiative, competence, ethics and compassion do not convey a strong enough description for Jeannie Azzopardi’s heart and mind. Present her with responsibility and stand back. Main stream descriptions fall short of her truth because she continually creates solutions that defy “the box.” And assimilation is not a problem.
Her strength resides in empathy. Accepting input and direction are simply starting points. The end results spring from an understanding of humanity that simultaneously creates success for institutions, co-workers and projects. To start an undertaking with consideration not only for the final objective but also for those who requested the task, support staff who will be part of the process and the targets of the task goes beyond consideration to a place of compassion that can result only in triumph.
As a barometer for good manners and kindness her simple participation at the inception of an idea means a right foot forward and instant support. Education should augment personalities and Jeannie’s choice of higher learning satisfied her personal needs for intellectual pursuits as well as infusing her personality with the tools it needed to excel. Her criminology degree lends itself to understanding confrontation and interpersonal solutions. English lent its intellect and knack for communication and finally her Masters wrapped a neat bow of education around her abilities. Creating and facilitating accessible education provides the quintessential opportunity for Jeannie’s creativity to use her skills to satisfy her personality’s prime motivator: Helping people help people. She is the best.
Sincerely,
