Death Investigation This course was designed to bring a completely holistic learning experience to the student; using the medico-legal, investigative and case law and procedure to assure a thorough understanding of death investigation. Students understand the idiosyncrasies of wound, weapon, and fingerprint analysis as well as the proper techniques for conducting an investigation. The use of a scenario brings the material to life for the student groups. They learn to read and understand an autopsy report and its determinations. Current events, news, trial coverage and testimony, Supreme Court decisions and lower court case law are all incorporated into the course for a true sense of realism and a sense of true application of the learning material. This course is truly an adventure!
